Valsneset

Greenstat co-owns the wind farm at Valsneset, in Ørland, with a 10% stake. The flat peninsula in Trøndelag is regulated for both wind power and industry and has been a test centre for wind power since the late 90s. In 2021, the wind farm produced 40.7 GWh, w) which provides the energy of approximately 2,500 households in Norway.

Valsneset

Valsneset is a good flagship for our work on industrial wind in industrialised areas. The outermost part of the test centre has been replaced with three modern Vestas V117 turbines that came into operation in 2020. We work purposefully with industrial wind projects that deliver clean renewable energy to industrial areas around Norway.
